A couple of years ago a BlackBerry was just for work and apps were few and far between.
Now you can get more great apps than you can fit in your BlackBerry memory at once.
You can find some of the same apps as on every platform, like EverNote, Shazam, Yelp and UrbanSpoon; other apps take advantage of the famous BlackBerry security – and the business audience is the reason tools like Xobni came to BlackBerry first.
Here is our pick of the 25 best apps for BlackBerry.

The BlackBerry tablet is here, and it looks astoundingly nice. Nicer than anybody expected it to be. Here’s what you need to know about the PlayBook, in 10 easy steps.
It’s a 7-inch tablet with a 1024×600 screen that weighs 0.9 pounds
Meaning it’s smaller and lighter than the iPad, with a more pixel-dense screen (i.e., text is gonna look cleaner and less pixel-y). It’s a little bigger and heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Tab, on the other hand. (Then again, the Galaxy Tab looks more like a really big phone.)
It’s running BlackBerry Tablet OS
As rumored, the [...]
The launched iPhone 4 has fulfilled people expectation (oh really?), While BlackBerry Bold 9700 is taking seriously large step trying to compete in smartphone business. Both are great in satisfying their consumers, so we’re not put them in cage since their targeted markets are different. This will only be a comparison without a winner or loser.
- Camera: BB (BlackBerry) attached a 3.15 megapixel camera with LED flash, while the iPhone 4 take a step forward with 5 megapixel camera, a LED flash, HD video recording capability.
- Design: it feels and looks tougher yet sleeker than previous model [...]
Is this the first picture of the BlackBerry Storm 3? BerryReview thinks so, after a tipster sent it to their mailbox. And I’m inclined to agree—although I wasn’t expecting that trackpad.
If we recall, the Storm 2 and the original Storm both leaned heavy on BB touchscreen-tech SurePress. This Storm 3, though, possibly conceding a point, puts trackpad navigation back in place.
Other details are limited: we can expect a 3.7-inch display, 8GB of internal memory, and Wi-Fi hotspot connectivity. As for processor and other specs, we’ll just have to wait and see.
