HTC Sensation Z710t With ST-Ericsson’s NovaThor SoC

There’s a new Sensation on the block that’ll be making its way to China Mobile, but rather than rehashing more of the same, this release marks the first smartphone to place ST-Ericsson’s NovaThor SoC under the hood. Unlike offerings from Qualcomm, the chip inside the Sensation Z710t offers a dual-core A9 processor along with connectivity to the carrier’s TD-SCDMA infrastructure. Other specs are expected to remain the same, which includes a 4.3-inch qHD display and 8 megapixel camera. Unfortunately, press photos weren’t released, which suggests its design hasn’t [...]

HTC Sensation XE

The HTC Sensation XE was only announced yesterday morning, but we’ve already managed to nab some hands on time with the first phone bearing the Beats logo. Essentially it’s just the popular HTC Sensation with the addition of Beats audio processing, but it’s been given another couple of decent upgrades too. The big one in our eyes is the battery – we’re now being offered a 1730mAh power pack which should help offset the over the top power consumption that plagued the original Sensation. But then again, the extra power could be swallowed up by the improved processor, [...]

HTC Amaze 4G With 1.5GHz dual-core CPU

The only images we’ve seen of the upcoming HTC Ruby Amaze 4G, the high-powered smartphone inbound for T-Mobile, have left us eager for more substance; few pictures show the phone powered on, and even those offer no visual evidence of its rockin’ specs. Our thirst for more info about the beast has been slightly more quenched, as Droid Sans snapped some pics of the prototype proudly displayed at a public gathering. From what we can tell by the snapshots, the device’s “about” screen confirms the presence of a 1.5GHz dual-core CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 4.3-inch qHD display and [...]
