There’s a new Sensation on the block that’ll be making its way to China Mobile, but rather than rehashing more of the same, this release marks the first smartphone to place ST-Ericsson’s NovaThor SoC under the hood. Unlike offerings from Qualcomm, the chip inside the Sensation Z710t offers a dual-core A9 processor along with connectivity to the carrier’s TD-SCDMA infrastructure. Other specs are expected to remain the same, which includes a 4.3-inch qHD display and 8 megapixel camera. Unfortunately, press photos weren’t released, which suggests its design hasn’t [...]

We spent some time with the HTC Titan and HTC Radar at IFA 2011, and brought your our in-depth hands on reviews, complete with a multitude of pictures and words.
But if you’re wondering how Windows Phone Mango actually runs on the phone, we’re here to help too, with our video of both the Titan and the Radar in all their glory.

The HTC Sensation XE was only announced yesterday morning, but we’ve already managed to nab some hands on time with the first phone bearing the Beats logo.
Essentially it’s just the popular HTC Sensation with the addition of Beats audio processing, but it’s been given another couple of decent upgrades too.
The big one in our eyes is the battery – we’re now being offered a 1730mAh power pack which should help offset the over the top power consumption that plagued the original Sensation.
But then again, the extra power could be swallowed up by the improved processor, [...]
The HTC Sensation XE has already been given a UK release date and price by technology retailer Clove.
UPDATE: Phones4U has announced its HTC Sensation XE deals, with the phone coming in at £36 per month for a two year term. It’s also managed to get the phone out a week ahead of Clove, with an HTC Sensation XE UK release date of 1 October.
The new phone, with a more powerful 1.5GHz dual-core processor and running Beats audio enhancement, will be available to buy from 7 October from Clove, according to the site’s blog.
And the price will see it sold for less than the Samsung Galaxy [...]
Thinking about picking up an (inconceivably expensive) HTC Jetstream? After all, it just slipped into AT&T’s online store this weekend. We’ll just leave this link to HotHardware in the source below, in case you want to check out some comparative benchmarks before trading $700 for a 2-year contract. Not that it performed poorly mind you, it raced neck-and-neck with Lenovo’s IdeaPad K1 — we just like think charts and tables are cool. Videos too — hit the break to see the folks at HotHardware give the 10-inch slate a quick hands-on.
The only images we’ve seen of the upcoming HTC Ruby Amaze 4G, the high-powered smartphone inbound for T-Mobile, have left us eager for more substance; few pictures show the phone powered on, and even those offer no visual evidence of its rockin’ specs. Our thirst for more info about the beast has been slightly more quenched, as Droid Sans snapped some pics of the prototype proudly displayed at a public gathering.
From what we can tell by the snapshots, the device’s “about” screen confirms the presence of a 1.5GHz dual-core CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 4.3-inch qHD display and [...]
Version 3.5 of HTC’s custom Android UX Sense was leaked a few days ago and today, a custom ROM featuring Sense 3.5 – based on Android 2.3.4 “Gingerbread” – has been released which works on the HTC Desire HD.
The custom ROM comes from the usual crafty bunch of folks over on XDA-Developer forums where RCTeam announced it. It is not absolutely stable at the moment, but most things work and it isn’t unusable. If you’ve got a spare Desire HD lying around, you’ll definitely want to check this out.
From the official thread:
This rom is based on Bliss WWE ruu
no chinese leak
After seeing the screenshots and the video walkthrough of Sense 3.5, do you feel like you’re missing out? Us too. Well, lucky folks in possession of HTC’s Desire HD don’t have to wait another minute, provided they’re comfortable flashing custom ROMs. The crafty folks over at the XDA-Developers forums have taken a leaked version of the software from the upcoming Bliss and ported it over to the Desire HD. As to be expected, there are some bugs with this 2.3.4-based ROM — Bluetooth doesn’t work at all, reportedly — but that seems like a small price to pay [...]
