SA7 headphones can withstand 14,000 Gs of acceleration

Are you rough on your headphones? Like, really, really rough? Well, the new Sleek Audio SA7 earphones can withstand 14,000Gs of acceleration. What’s that mean in real-life terms? It’s got the same rating as a nav chip in a bullet. So, you know, if you ever whip your headphones around that fast, these guys can take it.

And you’ll pay for the privilege! These will set you back about $400. Of course, they’re also pretty awesome-looking, as they’ve been machined from solid aluminum with a carbon fiber shell and titanium screws. Overkill for a mere set of headphones? Maybe. But tell that to the fighter pilot who just wants to listen to music while he hits Mach 4.
