WSJ reports that AT&T’s flagship Android phone, the Motorola Atrix, will be available March 6 for $199 with a two year contract. But—but!—they say you’ll be able to get the crazy-ass laptop dock for just $300 more. Updated.
That’s pretty cheap, all things considered. The phone itself is pretty beastly—dual-core processor (both 1GHz), 1GB RAM, giganto 1900mAh battery—and the laptop dock effectively turns it into a 11.6″ netbook with a full keyboard and trackpad.
WSJ says presales will start February 13.
Update: AT&T has confirmed the WSJ’s report [...]
Android 2.3 ‘Gingerbread’ was announced yesterday and developers are already busy in cooking up a ROM to port on all the latest devices.
HTC Evo is the first one to get the Android 2.3 port while other developers are busy bringing the Gingerbread experience to your phone.
This HTC Evo Android 2.3 ROM, as said by the developer on XDA, is extremely buggy and is NOT recommended for anyone other than developers who want to play around with it. Do not risk your phone installing this ROM if you use your EVO has your primary device.
