Nintendo hasn’t been too keen on letting us mere mortals stroke the Wii U, as no amount of coins could unlock the console’s cabinet at E3. Surprisingly though, Inside Games managed to get up close and personal to this white box outside its little cave, and then came home alive with a few clear shots. Mind you, there’s hardly anything exciting here: we’re just gazing at some air vents on the side and back, plus a few ports — including HDMI — on the latter. As pointed out by our brethren over at Joystiq, only time will tell whether this curvy Wii U will come [...]
Unless you live in a cave, you know that 3D TV is coming, and that to watch it you’ll need a new — and pricey — TV.
Or will you? As our friend and Sound & Vision alum John Sciacca observes in this blog post, there may be an alternative for cheapos.
The answer is to get a 3D-ready DLP TV for cheap, then bank on an announced (but still to come) device that will magically make your TV compatible with the new 3D Blu-ray standard. The Descent: 2 excellent movie, The Descent is one of the best horror movies of all time. Which is why I thought, a sequel would just end up ruin it, but to my surprise the sequel was excellent. I would say the sequel is just as good as the first, not better but just as good. For those of you who haven’t seen the first (you most have been living in a cave) a little corny joke. But the plot of the movie is about a group of friend, that went on a trip to explorer some underground cave. They found a uncharted cave system with they thought it would be a good idea to check it out. they found [...]
This is a fascinating area of research. The Biblical record speaks of human “giants” of unusually tall stature. And there are stories of giants in the myths, legends, and history of many other early human cultures all over the world. Granted, there may be some hoaxery embedded in the research and archaeology by those trying to suppress this information in order to attempt to discredit the issue, but there are certainly many genuine archaeological finds. Below is a well-written and interesting article, which may act as an introduction to the subject.
Genesis 6:4: “There were [...]
