Remember the ThinkPad X100e? Of course you do, the ultraportable or “notbook” only lasted 3.5 hours on a charge (with a six-cell battery!) and nearly burnt through our jeans. LG has added another notebook to its range with the launch of the LG T280 ultra portable notebook. The LG T280 features an 11.6 inch LCD display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. Processing comes in the form of either a 1.3GHz Intel Pentium SU4100 dual core processor, or a 1.3GHz Core 2 Duo SU7300 processor, graphics is provided by an Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics card. The 10.1-inch, Pine Trail Atom N450-boasting netbook’s specs include 2GB of RAM, a 250GB HDD, built-in Bluetooth, six-cell battery and a 1366×768 resolution screen. ASUS ANNOUNCES LOW COST NETBOOK Asus has released a new low cost netbook – the Asus Eee PC 1000HT. It is currently available in Japan for about $421. The new netbook doesn’t have any remarkable features. In looks it is similar to the Eee PC 1000H. But unlike the 1000H, the 1000HT doesn’t have Bluetooth or WiFi 802.11n.
