Verizon’s Upcoming Mobile Phones Roadmap Leaked
Folks at droidlife has posted leaked Verizon’s release plan for cellphones which reveals in month of April Verizon customers will have a variety of mobile devices in their hands.
Through following image you can see Samsung Droid Charge will get released on 4/14, HTC Droid Incredible 2 on the 4/21, and the Sony Ericcson Xperia PLAY on 4/28, 2011.
Remember, these release dates are always a subject to change but right now just think which one of these upcoming devices you want to buy.

Cursed phone number that killed 3 gets BANNED
If you live in Bulgaria, you won’t ever be assigned the cellphone number 0888 888 888. That’s because every single person who’s ever had that number was killed under suspicious circumstances. It’s gotten so bad that cellphone provider Mobitel has permanently banned the number.
Get this: The first guy with that number died of cancer — it was rumored he was poisoned with radiation by a business competitor. The second victim, a reputed mob boss, was shot to death. The third, a coke dealer: Gunned down. Boom, boom, boom.

PowerV Duo charges 2 Wiimotes and 2 USB devices at the same time
Now here’s a cool product: its the PowerV Duo, a charger that can charge two Wiimotes via induction, no cables required, while also offering up two USB ports to charge up devices such as cellphones at the same time. Nice!
For the Wiimotes, all you need to do is place them on top of the charger and they’ll start juicing up, no need to plug them in. The USB ports aren’t induction, obviously, but it’s a great extra feature to have on there since it’ll be sitting in your living room anyways. You can grab it now for $35, which seems like a great deal to me.
Google: Android 2.2 (Froyo) is ‘world’s fastest mobile browser’
Google’s already making great strides with its Android operating system, accounting for 28% of all smartphone sales in North America, compared to the iPhone’s 21%. Now it’s taken another leap forward with Android 2.2. Known as Froyo, the new version is at least two times faster than version 2.1, and in some instances a whole lot faster than that. Along for the ride is Adobe Flash 10.1, offering hardware acceleration of video and smooth navigation of Flash-enabled websites. Thwack, Apple!

For the kid who already has a giant robot, the Gundam phone
In concert with this year’s 30th anniversary of the Gundam robot anime franchise, Bandai has teamed up with Softbank to release a commemorative phone called the Gunpla (or Softbank 945SH G). Decorated with the iconic Gundam-style flair, the phone comes bundled with a model of the Gundam robot included as a kind of docking station and battery charger.
Aside from the cool aesthetics, the phone can also shoot HD video, and will come pre-installed with exclusive Gundam content such as custom menu screens and ringtones. Pricing has not been announced, but the phone is due for commercial release [...]

Fake painting actually blocks all cellphone signals
I can’t really imagine why you would want to completely block all cell signals in your home. Sure, cellphones can be annoying when they ring an inopportune times, but to block them altogether for you and any guests you have? That’s a little crazy.

FCC requests cellphone providers stop needlessly screwing users
We’ve all been there. One month, you chat a little more than usual and wham! You’re hit with a massive phone bill. Or worse — you’re hit with your kid’s out-of-control phone bill. Well, the FCC is taking steps to help prevent phone-bill sticker shock.

Verizon’s successor to the Droid could be the best Android phone yet
Verizon has been something of the odd-network-out as it doesn’t carry either the iPhone — which is constantly rumored to be coming to the carrier — or the Nexus One (though Verizon is in the cards to get Google’s “superphone,” too).
Well, now it’s Verizon’s time to shine thanks to the coming of the humbly-named HTC Droid Incredible, which is set to hit stores April 29th. Verizon carried the original Droid and now, with the Incredible, it’s got a phone that’s on the same level as the Nexus One.
