Flush with cash, but not a fan of spending it on litigation? We hear you, and apparently so does HTC. The Taiwanese firm announced today it’ll purchase S3 Graphics and its patent portfolio from VIA for a cool $300 million, giving the smartphone maker 265 new weapons in its IP arsenal. No good, wasn’t expecting much, from this movie and it delivered on my expectation. Had a lot of good B list actors, like Reta and detective Sucras,b from DEXTER which had me thinking. This movie is like what the other people are doing in great alien invasion movie. While will Smith is punching out aliens and saying cool stuff like welcome to earth. theirs got to be someone out there running around like headless chickens. So if you interested in that watch this movie other wise thumbs down. It did get and interesting plot twist at the end with I think should have be the main movie.

It looks like Google is trying to push Earth as an advanced tool, rather than the cool plaything it has been for much of its life. Yesterday while going through the “Just In” apps in the Android Market, I came across a very cool live wallpaper that I’m now using on my Samsung Galaxy S. I’m not much of a fan of live wallpapers as they eat more battery life, but this one is a simple, yet fun to use live wallpaper. You can watch it in action in the video below.
