At one time or another, most drivers encounter unsafe road conditions. Hazards can appear in many different forms, for instance, poor weather, drunk drivers, and simple human error can all complicate an otherwise uneventful journey. On the other hand, sometimes the condition of the road itself can put your life in jeopardy.
It is hard to imagine how many dangerous roads there are. When working on this post I studied about few resources to find out that there are over 100 dangerous and scary roads and these are just the most famous we’ve heard of. There are different factors of danger so it [...]
Folks at iLounge has tested Verizon iPhone 4 and they pointed out that the device suffers from Death grip like original AT&T iPhone 4 accompanied with another issue called Death hug issue.
“The CDMA iPhone 4 can still lose substantial cellular signal strength when held in the prior “death grip” position, as well as Wi-Fi signal when held in a different position, in each case noticeably slowing or completely stalling the reception of data.
The problem with Wi-Fi reception appears when the device is held snugly in landscape orientation with two hands, a position common when playing games [...]

Rabbit Hole (2010)- What a surprise departure for Mitchell! Tricky subject matter handled with a great deal of acumen. ****1/2 of 5
In order to avoid being pigeonholed as a certain “type” of filmmaker, it might prove wise for an up and coming director to accept a project completely outside of his comfort zone. Not only is it helpful for one’s reputation, but it also might help strengthen one’s abilities as well, forcing a relatively new director to think in ways and tackle [...]
Just after the launch of iPhone 4, everybody on the internet was talking about the antenna issues caused by a death grip. Talks about it did not end until Apple called a special press conference which was held to talk about the antenna issues of iPhone 4. They announced that they would give a free bumper case to every iPhone 4 buyer till September 30. Since the press conference, nobody has reported any more issues with the antenna of iPhone 4 as Apple provided every user their free bumper case and those who already had it, got a refund. As it was never really a big problem so Apple has decided [...]
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Sunday inaugurated the country’s first domestically built, long-range, unmanned bomber aircraft, calling it an “ambassador of death” to Iran’s enemies.
“The jet, as well as being an ambassador of death for the enemies of humanity, has a main message of peace and friendship,” Mr. Ahmadinejad said, speaking to a group of officials. He said the goal of the aircraft is to “keep the enemy paralyzed in its bases,” adding that the jet is for deterrence and defensive purposes.

Caving to pressures from just about everyone after a 17-year old gal was lured to her death by a 33-year old male posing as someone far younger on Facebook, the famed social networking site has just enabled a new “Panic Button” to be installed for those logging in from across the pond. The app, which is an opt-in service, was created by the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Center, and Facebook is now recommending that users under the age of 18 install it. If pressed, users will be put in contact with the aforementioned organization in order to report abuse, and potential [...]
If you hear the words “death mask,” one of the first things you think of is probably the tombs of Ancient Egypt. The idea of creating a mask of a person face after they’re dead has been going strong ever since then, though, and the folks at elistmania have dug up (hehe… get it?) 20 death masks of famous people. We particularly like the one of Nikola Tesla, just because it’s incredibly creepy. If you want to see it in person, it’s on display at the Tesla Museum in Belgrade.
Pulling weeds up with your hands is no fun. And using chemicals isn’t a great option, as they could seep into the ground and hurt surrounding plants and wildlife. Why not just burn them to death?
That’s what this Heated Weed Eliminator Tool does, sticking into the roots of the offending weed and burning them to death. It’s an easy, clean way of getting rid of weeds without the downsides other methods bring. Of course, it’s $100, so you’ve gotta really hate weeds for this to be worth it to you.
It turns out that older men chasing younger women contributes to human longevity and the survival of the species, according to new findings by researchers at Stanford and the University of California-Santa Barbara.
Evolutionary theory says that individuals should die of old age when their reproductive lives are complete, generally by age 55 in humans, according to demographer Cedric Puleston, a doctoral candidate in biological sciences at Stanford. But the fatherhood of a small number of older men is enough to postpone the date with death because natural selection fights life-shortening [...]
