Apple launches its tablet computer at 6pm GMT at an event in San Francisco today.
The technology industry is rife with rumour, speculation and half-cocked theories about and analysis of the device, before Steve Jobs has even announced its existence.
These latest ‘spy shots’ (courtesy of Engadget) look plausible enough. But then again, we’ll have to wait till later tonight to see if they are the real deal or not.

Microsoft announces ‘X10′ event for February
Microsoft is resurrecting its ‘X’ events, with a new X10 event announced, set to take place in San Francisco next month.
The press invites have gone out and the world’s videogame media will descend on the west coast of the US in a few weeks time to be treated to 2010′s Xbox 360 games and hardware highlights.

Nokia Launches Free Turn-By-Turn Navigation Around The World
For the past few days, Nokia has been trying to get everyone excited about.. something. They piqued our interests by sending out press event invites (for separate events in the UK and the US, no less), then revved the hype machine with a good ol’ fashion countdown timer.

Apple “Latest Creation” Launches January 27
The long rumoured Apple event is finally official and confirmed for January 27. Apple sent out some invites a couple of days ago to some selected members who would join them for the event.
Apple will most probably be launching the long-awaited and long rumoured Apple Tablet aka iSlate as their “Latest Creation”.
The tablet is not all. iPhone OS 4.0 is also on thel ist of the stuff that Apple might reveal on January 27.
This event is to be held at 10 AM PST on January 27, at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater, San Francisco.

Apple sends invites for Jan. 27 event profiling its “latest creation”
Apple confirmed reports of its upcoming event on Jan. 27, where many expect it to unveil its iSlate tablet computer. The company didn’t say anything about the event except, “Come see our latest creation.”
It will be at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, and it will likely be one of the most closely watched tech events since, um, Apple’s last press conference. We’ll definitely be there to write about the announcement as it happens.
