We’re here in San Francisco for Apple’s event today where they’re expected to unveil their new tablet computer which may or may not be known as the iPad, iSlate, iBook, iTablet, the Apple Tablet or some other variation. The event starts at 10 AM PT.

Apple launches its tablet computer at 6pm GMT at an event in San Francisco today.

Microsoft is resurrecting its ‘X’ events, with a new X10 event announced, set to take place in San Francisco next month.

Apple confirmed reports of its upcoming event on Jan. 27, where many expect it to unveil its iSlate tablet computer. The company didn’t say anything about the event except, “Come see our latest creation.”
