Google to bring new ‘iPad Killer’ Tablet with Verizon

As reported earlier, Google seems to be working on a Tablet to rival Apple’s wonder tablet computer; the iPad. And interestingly we know that it does Flash too! Now what adds more fuel to this debate is a recent report by the WSJ that claims that “Verizon Wireless is working with Google Inc. on a tablet computer”. The confirmation was brought by the carrier’s chief executive, Lowell McAdam. Verizon Wireless declined to discuss details on the timing or the manufacturer of a such a tablet. Microsoft-Yahoo deal, at last?

If every thing goes right, the Yahoo-Microsoft deal will at last see its day light. The proposed deal has already started showing its affect, as Yahoo Inc shares rose 4 percent Friday. This widely talked about deal is aimed at throwing a more serious challenge to Google Inc. Google offers to remove content from Orkut

Google Inc. and the Federal Prosecution Office of Brazil’s northeast Ceara state have signed an agreement to remove offensive and illegal contents from the social network website Orkut. According to the agreement, signed Tuesday, the prosecution office will be able to access an exclusive web page that will help it request the removal of contents regarded as offensive or illegal. The service will also allow the entity to preserve any kind of information that can be useful to investigation of illegal activities.
