As the next iOS 5.1 release is expected in near feature so that it is recommended by Notcom that users who belongs to jailbreak community must save SHSH blobs for iOS 5.0.1, because with the release of new iOS update it would not be possible to save SHSH blobs for old iOS version.

Developer team iH8sn0w updated their iOS SHSH blobs dumper tool to iFaith v1.4 which can work for iOS 3.x.x to 5.0.1 for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
According to the official description, iFaith can dump SHSH blobs for currently installed version of iOS over your iDevice whereas Tinyumbrella can only save SHSH blobs for latest iOS version.

iH8Sn0w, a Toronto-based iPhone developer, released iFaith, a new SHSH blob dumper for all iOS devices which can save SHSH files of any firmware running on your device even if Apple is not signing it.
We all know that backing up SHSH blobs allows users to easily downgrade devices in the future, by simply restoring the device using iTunes. The problem is that once Apple stops signing the old firmware, there is no way to get SHSH blobs for it.
