Google and Samsung have just made the long-awaited Galaxy Nexus (not longer the Nexus Prime, as we’d once heard) official here in Hong Kong, and the specifications are downright drool-worthy. Nokia’s much-vaunted partnership with Microsoft for Windows Phone 7 handsets is coming to fruition, with specifications for the devices being liberally plastered across the internet. First up is the Nokia Sea Ray, which is said to ship with a Clear Black Display 3.7-inch amoled screen, a Carl Zeiss eight megapixel autofocus camera and 16GB of internal storage. Okay, so it wasn’t much of a surprise, but Amazon finally has a tablet, and as expected its name picks up where the Kindle left off: Fire. You probably thought Motorola had a lock on this whole docks for your phone thing, but Korean company KT quietly launched an assault on the Atrix manufacturer at IFA. Rather than a single (and underwhelming) “Webtop,” KT’s Spider Concept has three different accessories that expand the capabilities of the 4.5-inch gingerbread device. Well, it’s been a long time coming, but you fine folks living in the good ol’ U-S-of-A are finally getting blessed with Galaxy S IIs to call your own. Microsoft has made its third big Windows Phone Mango announcement of the last 24 hours with the latest being a “more complete” release of the app SDK to developers. Earlier on Wednesday we learned that the Fujitsu Toshiba IS12T will be the first handset to boast Mango, featuring a 13.2mp camera, 32GB internal storage and an 800x480p, 3.7-inch display.
