At long last, the iPhone 5. We just got our hands on Apple’s latest smartphone following its unveiling in San Francisco, and suffice it to say, it’s a beautiful thing. Some might say we’ve been waiting for this moment since October 4th of last year, but another crowd may say that the real next-gen iPhone has been on the burner for much longer. Indeed, this is the first iPhone since June of 2010 to showcase an entirely new design, but it’s obvious that Apple’s not going to deviate far when it comes to aesthetics.
Apple followers will aptly recall Steve Jobs’ [...]
We’ve seen the motherboard, the dock connector, the charging cable and even full-fledged versions, but for the first time we might actually have an accurate look, plus a comparison, of the iPhone 5.
Photos leaked today purportedly show the iPhone 5 in all its put-together glory, posed side-by-side with the iPhone 4.
The “5″ is longer and leaner, fitting in with rumored specs we’ve seen of a five-layered app display and 4-inch screen.
The bezel is also two-toned, unlike the mono-colored iPhone 4.
Here’s the iPhone 5 by its lonesome:

Is Apple working on a 64GB iPhone model? Well according to a report published by MIC Gadget, “Engineering Prototype” models of iPhone 4 which sports 64GB storage capacity are currently being sold in grey markets of Hong Kong, China.
According to Unwire.hk, this suspicious 64GB model has started selling in Sin Tak, the greatest grey market in Hong Kong, and the sellers claimed that these are engineered models and available in small quantity. Interestingly, the back of the phone states iPhone XXGB! That reminds us the leaked prototype last year, the one Gizmodo bought it. It also states [...]
Gizmodo somehow managed to get their hands on to the rumored iPhone 4G prototype that Engadget was also reporting about and now it looks like the real deal. According to Gizmodo, the iPhone 4G/HD was found “lost” in a Redwood City, Calif. bar. Gizmodo has published its findings, along with numerous pictures, videos and even disassembled the iPhone HD/4G.
We can’t say for sure that the device found is the iPhone 4G but looking at pictures published by MacRumors and then proving them as legit by sharing a legitimate photo of iPad prototype where you can see the same phone resting aside [...]
Last week, we shared a video showing the claimed iPhone 4G display. Here comes another video which also shows the supposed LCD of the iPhone 4G aka iPhone HD.
In this iPhone 4G video, the LCD has been separated from its frame and the two components are shown side by side with the iPhone 3G’s components to show the difference between the two.
There’s a front facing camera hole and proximity sensor in the next gen iPhone frame. This makes these component much similar to that leaked by iResQ back in Feb.
Now it’ll be not too long to know more on the 4th gen iPhone because Apple is going [...]
According to the information collected by Mac Daily, the Cupertinos might be unveiling the next generation of iPhone on 22nd June. What has led to this supposition you ask?
Well as always, the Cupertinos have rented the very same conference center which was used to announce all three previous successful models of the magical gadget known to all of us as iPhone. For more juicy information check out what ModMyi Forum has to say regarding this huge development:
Although no confirmations have yet come from Apple (naturally), there is speculation that the big [next-gen iPhone] reveal could [...]
We all know that the fourth generation iPhone is already in the pipeline. The real question is that when will it make an appearance? and what features will it have on offer. There has been all sorts of rumors lately revolving around hardware and software capabilities of the next generation iPhone. Some of them make sense, others don’t.
Here is a compilation of these rumors. This is all what we know so far about the next-gen iPhone.
There has been all sorts of talk about the hardware. From a Dual-Core processor, to a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, to a Magic Mouse like touch [...]
Apple announced iPhone OS 4. In the presentation they said the iPhone OS 4.0 release date was to be summer while the Apple iPad will get it in the fall, a few months later.
Reasons for the iPad delay are still unknown although we suspect they are tweaking iPhone OS 4.0 for the iPad to work things a little differently such as how the multitasking tray works.
With Apple only specifying summer as the iPhone OS 4.0 release date, that obviously puts it somewhere in June, July or August. We currently believe that the next gen iPhone (aka iPhone 4G or iPhone HD) is going to be announced early [...]
We have already seen what Apple has to offer in the upcoming iPhone OS 4.0. My favourite feature in the iPhone OS 4.0 is multitasking! That is one feature I can’t live without in a smartphone and that is what might make me move to an iPhone when the next-gen iPhone comes later this year.
iPhone OS 4.0 beta (8A230m) firmware is already available for download for developers now.
Here’s a quick video I found on YouTube which demonstrates the multitasking feature of the iPhone OS 4.0 on an iPhone 3GS.
