It’s not just iOS device users getting a software update today. Apple has also now made iTunes 10.6 available for download, which includes support for 1080p movies and TV shows to match those available on the new Apple TV. The update also brings with it a number of improvements to iTunes Match, including better song matching, and improvements to the way album artwork is downloaded and displayed. You can find it at the link below or download it via Apple’s Software Update tool.
Alongside iTunes 10.5 final release Apple begun seeding iTunes 10.5.1 beta to developers with iTunes Match beta. iTunes 10.5.1 beta includes enhancements, and fixes, and it is a recommended update for all of the iTunes Match beta subscribers.

Well, isn’t this just cute? If you’ll recall, Ricoh’s CX4 was found to only be “slightly superior” the CX3 that came before it (and the same with the CX2 / CX3 before that). Fast forward a few months, and it’s the same song and dance all over again… but with different model numbers, of course. The fine folks over at Photography Blog recently put the similarly styled CX5 through its paces, and autofocus aside, it’s essentially the same camera as the CX4. The lone standout feature on the new guy is the Hybrid AF feature, which most certainly improves [...]
It was reported earlier that Apple will bring 90 seconds preview to iTunes which is live now for US users.
Right this is not clear, that what regions of the world will get access to 90 seconds iTunes preview as UK version is still on 30 seconds iTunes song preview.
Apple has sent out the notice to music company’s executives about the change for the iTunes preview which is extended to 90 seconds for the songs with at least 2 minutes 30 seconds duration whereas the 30 second preview is still the same for the shorter songs.
Now, for example if any of music label does not agree with Apple’s new terms for iTunes preview then simply Apple will remove their stuff from iTunes.
Right now no date is specified for 90 seconds song iTunes preview.

Some of the best things in tech aren’t necessarily the most straightforward.
Indeed, some of the best tech innovations are some of the most off-the-wall.
Here we look at eight new but weird and wonderful technologies that we could see in popular use in the near future.
