I popped into Oxfam Vintage the other day on George’s Street for a bit of a goo. Low and behold, I found this gorgeous floral number with pussy bow detail – quite the box ticker, eh? I’m not really a pink kinda gal but the knife pleats create a more structured look and there are lovely cameo hues of dove grey and fuchsia that make it less girlie girlie. It has to be said, this iPhone pic doesn’t do it quite the justice it deserves, especially since I snagged it for a whopping €10. Bargain! Nice one…

I’m a bit late posting this (er…very late!) but I just wanted to extend a ‘thank you’ to street style photographer Dvora who kindly stopped me to take my picture after the Nicole Farhi show at LFW. A shortlistee for Vogue’s Photoblog Competition, Dvora has a real kinship with Ireland having spent lived in Belfast. She took a liking to my coiff and my Queen Mary necklace. Those who know me know that this piece is from Joanne Hynes’ a/w 10 collection and is rarely seen off my neck! I’m always fascinated at [...]
What is the most expensive car in the world? The 1931 Bugatti Royale Kellner Coupe was sold for $8,700,000 in 1987. However, that car and many alike will not be included in this list because it is not available on the market today. It is hard to imagine someone would actually spend 8 million dollars on a car instead of using it for something more productive.
However, if you have the money and the opportunity, you will definitely spend a small fraction of it to place a few of these supercars in your garage. Here are the 10 most expensive production cars on the market.

You know that street view mode you can turn on while using Google Maps? Well, it turns out that the fleet of cars the company uses to make the pedestrian-style view possible were unintentionally pulling in more data than Google had planned. Namely, the cars were probing password-less Wi-Fi networks and determining what websites folks were looking at.
So, who blew the lid off of this nefarious scheme? Well, you know, the “do no evil” guys — Google.
In a blog post on Friday by Alan Eustace, Senior VP of Engineering and Research, the company admitted that “it’s now clear [...]
The iPad has only been out for 11 days now, and yet during those 264 hours, iPad users have managed to watch some 650,000 TV episodes using ABC’s free app for the device. Mind you, a good number of those could be only partial viewings, but it all adds up to “several million” ad impressions, according to The Wall Street Journal. Translation: ABC is happy.
There’s definitely a benefit to hitting the scene early, as ABC has demonstrated. With some 500,000 iPads out in the wild now, ABC enjoyed 205,000 downloads of its free app. That’s over three episodes watched per [...]
