I remember when last year Ufone started taking pre-orders for Nokia N8 in Pakistan. Yes I took that offer and wrote an hands-on overview. This time it’s not like that but it seems that Ufone is going to promote the beautiful Nokia N9 in Pakistan. However Nokia N9 has already been available in markets officially. I am not sure what purpose Ufone will serve for Nokia N9 now. Probably a lower price tag and a few promotional gifts?
Frankly! I am not sure but as the poster above is showing a special plan for Ufone customers which is “Call at 50 Paisas/min” if they purchase Nokia N9 with Ufone [...]

HP has confirmed it will be offering refunds to all customers that bought TouchPads and Pre 3 phones before the huge price drop.
Over on its official site, it has listed the refunds available for every model of its ill-fated webOS devices, with customers offered the difference between that which they paid for the device and the new low shelf tag.
It’s an odd move to see HP essentially giving away money – the Pre 3 was barely on sale in the UK and the TouchPad wasn’t a huge seller, so the uprising against the price drop was never likely to be a massive problem to deal with, but the [...]
Pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy Note, one of the stars of IFA 2011, have started with the portable device coming with a rather large price tag.
The tablet-phone hybrid was certainly an eye opener at IFA. Not only does it bring a sparkling 5.3-inch AMOLED screen, but it also comes with a stylus – an accessory that never seems to die.
The handset marks a new, as yet unnamed category, for Samsung that sits between its smartphones and Galaxy Tab range.

The 1982 Lockheed Sea Shadow may be rusting away in Suisun Bay, but its Commie-spooking contours haven’t been forgotten. They apparently inspired the design of the Asus G74SX-A1, which just won a HotHardware recommendation for its cheese-eschewing looks as well as its performance, efficient cooling and realistic $1749 price tag. For once, the Core i7-2360QM CPU coupled with a GeForce GTX 560M and generous 12GB dollop of DDR-1333 RAM actually conspired to surpass the manufacturer’s 3DMark benchmark claims. It wasn’t flawless though: overall computing performance was middling compared [...]
At work we have several websites that we develop with Plone, but each year we make a new version and we want to keep an archive of the old version.
Since it takes a lot of memory to keep a Zope instance for these old websites that probably won’t need to be edited ever again, it makes sense to make a static copy of the website. It also eliminates the work needed to update the instance when security patches come out (and eliminates security risks, in cases of old versions that are no more maintained).
There are some tools that can help in this case; I chose to use wget, which is available [...]
