Facebook released Facebook app for Android update with a brand new design and user interface. According to Facebook official blog latest Facebook Android app integrated with some new features like:

Microsoft has released Internet Explorer 9 Platform Preview 6 which is available for download now. Internet Explorer 9 Platform Preview 6 includes improvements as compare to the previous version of IE9 Platform Preview 5.
Internet Explorer 9 Platform Preview 6 does not provide full UI for the developers who want to test the new functions of the IE9 rendering engine.

TweetDeck for Android Beta 3 is now available for download! The TweetDeck Twitter account just posted the link to the third beta release which brings improvements and a new feature.
The TweetDeck Android app now has improved data usage and you can now adjust the refresh rate of columns in TweetDeck. Beta 2 was released just yesterday.

For all those of you who read emoiz review of the U.K.-only HTC Desire and lamented the fact that you couldn’t get your American paws on one, rejoice! The HTC Desire is coming to America starting this August through “select regional operators.” More details to come, but rest assured, it’ll have the 1GHz Snapdragon processor and HTC Sense UI that made the original so desirous. HTC has confirmed it is working on an upgrade to Android 2.1 for the HTC Tattoo.
According to an oddly-translated statement from FrAndroid, the company says that coding the new 2.1 upgrade with is Sense UI is taking time.
While the same is already on the HTC Legend and HTC Desire, the HTC Tattoo is a cheaper phone, with a smaller, resistive screen, so work has to be undertaken to bring Android 2.1 to it.

I just came across this very interesting UI concept video. The video by Barton Smith, a designer from Australia, appears to be a prototype UI for a conceptual “Locus OS” which is described as a “location-based operating system”.
