Apple has taken the wraps off a new iPod Touch, which will launch in both black and white.
It offers Retina Display, and will launch running iOS 5 which means you’ll get a host of delicious new goodies to play with.
These include iCloud, Apple’s Cloud storage/syncing system and iMessage for realtime chat among reams of other features.
FaceTime
The new iPod Touch also offers HD video playback, a gyroscope and FaceTime all cased in its ultra-thin design.

This is according to TheDroidGuy, a site that is claiming that it managed to sneak a peek at the device courtesy of one of Samsung’s execs who attended the Verizon Developer’s conference in Las Vegas.

The HTC Sensation XE has already been given a UK release date and price by technology retailer Clove.
UPDATE: Phones4U has announced its HTC Sensation XE deals, with the phone coming in at £36 per month for a two year term. It’s also managed to get the phone out a week ahead of Clove, with an HTC Sensation XE UK release date of 1 October.
The new phone, with a more powerful 1.5GHz dual-core processor and running Beats audio enhancement, will be available to buy from 7 October from Clove, according to the site’s blog.

Sony has officially launched its new Tablet S here at IFA 2011.
The new 9.4-inch tab is powered by Nvidia’s Tegra 2 processor and features the Android Honeycomb operating system. It’s version 3.1 which will be upgradeable to 3.2.
The Sony Tablet S UK release date is September. A Wi-Fi/3G version of the Tablet S has a UK release date of November 2011 – this will ship with Android 3.2 from the off.

Toshiba has revealed that its AT200 tablet (aka the Toshiba Excite) will be just 7.7mm thick when it lands with Honeycomb 3.2.
Let’s review: the iPad 2 is 8.8mm deep. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 comes in at 8.6mm. That means that little old Tosh is beating both the sparring bigwigs at their own slender game.
Still, size isn’t everything – can the AT200 compete on other fronts? Its high resolution display is a 10.1-incher, with resolution coming in at 1280×800 – same as the Samsung Galaxy Note we saw earlier today.
