ASUS Eee Pad will be officially announced
The Eee Pad, the one that runs Android, is going to be officially introduced at Computex 2010, during the first week of June.
This is an announcement from Asustek Computer chairman Jerry Shen, and he said that “the Eee Pad will be everything that the iPad is not”. Not only will it have Google Android, but USB, Flash, and an integrated webcam.
The projected price is about $480-510.

Mysterious prototype turns out to be Apple’s new iPhone
Our friends over at Gizmodo have gotten their hands on the fourth-generation iPhone prototype. They’ve spent a whole week with the unit and even taken it apart. Keep in mind Apple hasn’t even announced a fourth-gen iPhone yet, let alone talked about it.
Over the weekend Engadget posted some photos of an iPhone-resembling device that was apparently found on the floor of a San Jose bar. ACTA goes public

The New Zealand round of ACTA [ed: the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement, a secret copyright treaty being negotiated outside of the United Nations] negotiations concluded earlier today with participants promising to release the draft text next week. This obviously represents a major new development that reflects the mounting global pressure for greater transparency that built in the weeks leading up to the negotiations.

Mike Pusateri sez, “This week is the NAB Conference and I saw this steampunk style VTR controller on the show floor. I thought you might get a kick out of it. Apple Store Down, New MacBook Pros Coming?
Apple Store is down, and this only means one thing, that the new MacBook Pro 2010 can be released today.
All the rumours are pointing towards only one thing, that yes, indeed, Apple is most likely to update their MacBook Pro lineup today.
Last week, Macworld Australia heard from sources that new MacBook Pro models will be announced next Tuesday, that is today, the 13th of April. Their source is also familiar with Apple product cycles and inventory levels.
Stay tuned to find out what Apple will, most likely, reveal today. New MacBook Pro with Core i5 and i7? New iMacs? Or both?

Two tablets blow away iPad, except for that software thing
You weren’t really thinking the iPad was the only tablet computer kicking some ass lately, did you? Just this week, HP revealed tantalizing details about its HP Slate tablet, and also this week a company called ICD introduced its powerful Gemini tablet with a 1GHz Tegra 2 chip under the hood.

The largest international fashion event in the US, Miami International Fashion Week 2010 just concluded, and it can be said that the 12th showing of the Annual event was arguably the best ever. Even the founder and president of MIFW, Beth Sobol, stated, “There is no doubt that this was our best year ever, we had more than 58 international designers from more than 22 countries”
